Willy Heesakkers 1971 Roush Mustang.
Hello California Mustang team,
On your website I saw the possibility to show your own car as the “car of the month”. I thought it would be a great opportunity to show my “Roush Mustang” to the American fans of the Mustang.
Why do I call it a Roush Mustang? Well , here’s the story.
A Ms. Roush in Lawndale, California bought this car brand new back in ’71. She had the car for more than 24 years and the car was white when it left the dealer (Burch Ford, harbour blvd, La Habra Cal. ). That lady saved the Purchase order , bills, Smog check report, and so on. So I have the complete history of the car. It came with a 302 cid, crusomatic trans, Power steering , Power brakes with front disc brakes, Airco, AM radio, Tinted glass, White wall tires. In 1995 she sold the car to a Dutchmen and he transported it to Holland, Europe. Then he restored the car, but painted it green. I am the third owner now and I use it as a daily driver. It’s in very good condition,
It still has matching numbers and when it have to be repainted in the future I want to go back to the original white color.
The few parts that I need I order at California Mustang.
A lot of greetings From
Willy Heesakkers
Holland
